EnergyBlinds are solar blinds that reflect over 80% of solar energy back through the glass. EnergyBlinds also provide almost the same efficiency as outdoor sun protection, even though you can see right through them!
Why Energyblinds?
During the winter months, EnergyBlinds solar blinds allow heat to be retained within a room. When closed, the solar blind will improve a window’s U-Value by over 30%, with associated cost savings.
Tests were carried out by the Swedish National Testing and Research Institute using a double glazed window with a U Value of 2.7.
EnergyBlinds solar blinds are available as standard or automatic cartridges with an alternative of a bottom mounted cartridge which offers the ability to make the most of natural daylight.
Efficient, Flexible and Attractive Solar Blinds
•   Unique reflective aluminium laminate combined with a sunscreen produces the revolutionary reduction in heat build up.
•   Design finish creates extra strength and rigidity enabling EnergyBlinds solar blinds to be used on larger windows.
•   EnergyBlinds provide the same protection  as many external sunscreens. These solar blinds are also designed to retain the full view through any window or door.
•   Can be combined with electrically operated cartridges. Also available with a bottom-mounted cartridge option for better use of daylight.
•   EnergyBlinds can be used in tandem or triplicate for window sizes over 1800mm wide. Maximum window height is 5000mm for curtains in one piece.
•   Integrated guiderails allow for simple operation on normal, sash and skylight windows alike.
•   The cartridge is available in standard finish of white or naturally anodised. All aluminium sections can be powder coated to any RAL colour at an additional cost.
•   Differing light finishes available.
